**Growing Green Beans and Corn Together: A Raised Bed Success Story**

Last summer I decided to try something a little different in my garden. I planted green beans and corn together in two large raised beds, each measuring 8 feet by 3 feet, and the results absolutely blew me away.

The idea of companion planting beans and corn is an old one, farmers have been doing it for centuries, but I wasn't sure how well it would work in raised beds.

Turns out, it works incredibly well. The corn stalks gave the bean vines something to climb, and the beans helped fix nitrogen in the soil, which kept the corn happy and healthy all season long.

By the time harvest came around, I couldn't believe what those two beds had produced. I ended up picking at least 10 grocery bags full of green beans over the course of the summer.
